With over a million twinkling lights to behold, this year’s illuminations at Kew Gardens will be more spectacular than ever. From the 22nd November until 5th January the garden will glow and glitter in the dim winter light. It’s a truly magical experience, topped off with fairground rides for the children and mulled wine for the adults.

But, its not the only magical experience that Kew is hosting this year. Until 17th March, the intricate and stunning drawings of artist Mark Frith will be on display to dazzle in a completely different way. The collection of drawings captures beautiful portraits of characterful ancient oaks that stand sentinel in our ever-changing landscape. Not to be missed.

Winter at Wisley is no less wonderful, either! There’s illuminations in the form of the impressive Jigantics installations from Dec 1st until 02nd Jan
