RHS Garden Wisley is worth a visit at any time of year, but in high summer not only are the gardens at the peak of flowering, but there’s also a great deal of activities and events to take part in, too.

Although fuchsias aren’t top of everyone’s list of fashionable plants these days, they make a stunning and vibrant display ‘en masse’ in the tropical surroundings of the glasshouse. It’s a chance to take a fresh look at these familiar border plants, and see varieties that you may not have come across before. No popping open the flower buds though! Normal garden admission applies.
