Snowdrops – the first flowers of spring. Well, if it’s not quite spring yet, it’s just around the corner, and snowdrops are the first hint of its arrival.
Gatton Park in Reigate Surrey has a fine display, and the park is open every Sunday in February between 1pm – 5pm, so that visitors can enjoy these early blooms. Gatton Park is also hosting a snowdrop week from Feb 15th – 19th.
Adults £4.00, children go free.

You can also visit Timber Hill, a 15 acre garden in Chobham, that is open as part of the National Garden Scheme. This beautiful garden has a rich display of spring flowers, including species crocus, witch hazel and narcissus and daffodils, which should be blooming in this unusually mild year.
