Our Top 3 Rose Pruning Tips…

Our fantastic team trainer, Miles, treated us to a Spring Pruning Session this morning. With a focus on hybrid tea and shrub roses, Miles pinpointed 3 top tips to remember:

1. Be brave – roses actually like being pruned.

2. Start with the 3 Ds – cut out dead, diseased and dying stems.

3. Create an open cup shape – cut to an outward facing bud and leave 4 to 5 strong stems.
