Spring really gets in full swing when the blousy skirts of the tulips start to unfurl. While many of us plant a fair few in our own gardens, at Dunsborough Park in Ripley, near Guildford, a spectacular display of over 40,000 tulips will be pushing up through the grass this spring.
Owned by the Sweerts de Landas Wyborgh family, the gardens have been beautifully restored and the spring display of tulips is truly show-stopping. This year the gardening team have planted 20,000 new bulbs and replanted over 20,000 1 year-old bulbs in the grass to create a wild meadow.
